About the Author:

John Norberg is an Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame writer, author, and humorist. He is retired as Director of Communications for Development at Purdue University and from the Lafayette Journal and Courier, where his humor column ran for 42 years. A nationally respected, award-winning speechwriter and public speaker, Norberg is the author of seven published books, including Spacewalker: My Journey in Space and Faith as NASA’s Record-Setting Frequent Flyer (co-authored with astronaut Jerry Ross). Norberg’s eighth book, Ever True: Celebrating the First 150 Years Of Purdue Universitywill be released in May and is being published by Purdue Press as part of the University’s sesquicentennial celebration. Norberg has written articles for various national publications, including the Saturday Evening Post, USA Today, the Christian Science Monitor, and Time magazine. He has been interviewed by CBS News Sunday Morning, NPR’s Big Picture Science, and many newspapers, radio, and TV news shows. Norberg was honored with the prestigious Purdue University Special Boilermaker Award for his contributions to the University.
