Former ‘Seinfeld’ star to headline Krannert event in Indy
Former “Seinfeld” star Jason Alexander will headline the 19th annual Krannert Leadership Speakers Series event, which is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis.
Tickets are now on sale for the event, which includes dinner and features the presentation of Krannert alumni awards and the induction of the latest class of the Boiler Business Exchange Business Hall of Fame.
Entertainment will be provided by Alexander, who garnered six Emmy nominations, four Golden Globe nominations, an American Television Award and two American Comedy Awards for his iconic role as George Costanza on “Seinfeld.” Alexander has also appeared on Broadway and is an award-winning magician and skilled poker player.
Tickets are $100 each, with tables of 10 available for $1,000. Sponsorship levels range from $3,500 to $10,000, and some sponsorship levels will provide access to a private reception with Alexander following his performance. Net proceeds from the event benefit Krannert scholarships.
The Boiler Business Exchange is a group of businesspersons in the Indianapolis area who raise the profile of Purdue in the city and help promote the university by hosting high-profile events.
